This is an internal demo build, not a client project. It shows the kind of system Farman Labs builds for a print shop, and the page layout every real case study will follow. Real case studies, with measured before-and-after numbers and client permission, replace it as they come in.
The friction
A typical commercial printer takes orders by email, phone and WhatsApp. Someone re-keys each one into a spreadsheet and the job system, print files arrive at the wrong size or resolution and are found late, and customers call to ask where their order is.
The system
Customers sign in to a branded portal, choose a product, fill in a guided spec form and upload their PDF. The file is checked for page size, bleed, colour mode and resolution before the order is accepted. The job then moves through a timeline the shop floor updates, and each change sends the customer an email.
